My first drone was purchased back in 2016. It was a DJI Phantom that I got used off craigslist. This was when drones were not yet mainstream and you couldn’t pick one up at your local Costco. Like a little child, I was super excited to be able to get some cool cinematic shots that were impossible with just a camera. I went onto a roof of the mall with a buddy after work – and promptly crashed it strait into the side of the wall. There goes $1k.

A lot has changed since then and I’ve learned a lot. I’ve flown mini drones, FPV drones, autonomous drones and to this day I believe the shots you can get with a drone provide a point of view that is incredibly unique and beautiful.
